Here's Kyle's latest creation #165. This Bowie features the first Hanger-Style Guard Kyle has done and also his first ‘Scroll’ type engraving. Pretty amazing considering his flawless execution. He has a tremendous amount of hours in the engraving alone. The file-work rear bolster and handle frame are a single stainless steel unit.

Kyle created a “WIP” Thread (will be updating soon) that can be found here.

Kevin,

Thanks for sharing. Kyle is exceptional at his attention to detail and this is an outstanding example. It's always amazed me at his masterful achievements on his first attempt at anything.

He's an inspiration to us all.

Thats pretty amazing, congrats Kevin! I don't know if the knife is just you, or if the only thing that makes me think that is the amber stag. Must be a rewarding knife to own. Those pins look gold, or rose gold. Are they? It has a similar handle to your other, so it will fit in nice. Actually that must be what I am seeing.

Thanks very much, Kevin! It's certainly one of Kyle's best knives and definitely his koolest engraving! It was a pleasure to photograph. Don't forget to click the images to enlarge them. Enjoy!

Check out the reflection on the guard!

Kevin, your new Bowie is truly a top shelf piece... I'm sure you had a great deal of input design wise, and the materials and finishes are perfect... It would be right at home even in the finest collections.

Kyle, my guess is many of your fellow makers are going to be leaving comments when they see this Bowie.. Any praise and kudos for you, and your work, are richly deserved... What an incredible knife! Congratulations to both you, and Kevin, for such a successful project....

Best Regards, Rich Slaughter

Awsome knife! That should be a strong contender for Bowie of the year!

What a superb Christmas present for yourself, Kevin.
Outstanding work and creativity by all involved.
Thanks for sharing.

Amazing work Kyle, great photos Caleb, congrats to you Kevin on a beautiful addition to your collection. This one is truly exceptional!

it's obvious, the level of craftsmanship and artistry is on the top tier, so there's not much to do but fawn over this piece.
However, you asked for feedback, and mine is that the knife would make more sense to me if the polished fittings were hot blued.

Fantabulous photography, as always!

Wow! Just wow! Hard to do much but just drool over this piece. Congratulations on a fantastic bowie, Kevin. What a project this was, and Kyle just killed it. So nice.

Another amazing acquisition Kevin and a wonderful artistic creation as to the knife by Kyle and the photography by Caleb. I think the song, On top of the World aptly describes Kyle as an artisan.
thanks for sharing with all of us other collectors.
