Knife is SOLD PENDING FUNDS. My thanks to all.

Greetings all,

Offered for sale is a special piece by a super-talented young maker you just may have heard of before - Kyle Royer.

Kyle had this one with him at Blade year before last and was showing it around to makers and collectors, seeking input on what was not only his first slipjoint, but his first folder of any kind.

I had plans to make this a premium daily carry, and while it did ride in my pocket for a few days (in a velour slipsheath) it never saw any use.

And here it is:

Specs are:

  • a shade over 3 3/4" closed, 6 3/4" open
  • blade and backspring of 01 steel
  • liners of German silver
  • bolsters are forged radial pattern damascus
  • scales are creamy caramel mammoth ivory

This isn't a delicate little slippy - check the dimensions - it's more of a solid back pocket type.

The knife came with a letter of authenticity documenting the specs and certifying that it is his first folder. This will be forwarded to you.

My photos don't do the piece justice, but give you the general idea.

A closer look at the vibrant bolster:

And here you can see the meticulous starburst pattern filework on the liners:

I could go on and on about this maker's remarkable talent, bright future and what this knife likely represents going forward - but the buyer of this knife already gets that.

Offered at US$PF which is inclusive of Paypal (vastly preferred) and shipping in Canada and the US. International shipping available at actual cost, and it is pricey.

As always, I am happy to answer questions, but the first "I'll take it!" by e-mail or pm will get this unique piece.

Thanks for reading.

Roger
