Has anyone tried the Kyocera ceramic pens? Supposedly because the ball is made of ceramic, it doesn't get flat spots or skip, and it writes smoother. Can anyone verify this?

I know that www.cutleryshoppe.com has them, and you can find more info on them at the www.kyocera.com website (I think under consumer ceramics or something like that). I'm sure that a few other knife sites carry them as well.

About a year ago, I ordered some from KnifeCenter. I disliked them almost immediately because they felt scratchy when I was writing. (Since then I have found that I prefer gel or rollerball pens.)
I'd send them to you, but they're in storage somewhere and I can't get to them right now -- let me know if you still want one in a couple of weeks.
