I have come into quite a bit of what I assume is L6. It is right now in the form of band saw blades about 8" wide. I use this exclusively with 1095 for my Damascus billets but I have more than I can use. I am having the steel analyzed so I will know exactly what I have

Thanks

Can't really help with a going price but L6 is pretty tough and is fairly popular for making large choppers.

You'll have better luck in the Knife Makers forum with this, but as a registered user, you still aren't allowed to ask values.

one of my favorite machetes is made from L6 (svord kiwi machete):

What you have is 15N20, basically 1070-1075 with 1.5-2% nickel.
