Mr. Patrick seems to primarily be a seller of knife-making goods with 100% feedback over a few dozens transactions on eBay per year for several years.

But he also turns some of those supplies into some nice-looking puukkos - maybe a half-dozen a year, some with blades from respected craftsmen in Finland. He is clear about the source of the blades.

I can find no reviews of the knives he puts together.

Anyone have experience to share, especially with his knives?

I have seen his Puukkos as well . They look well made and very cool looking . Now that you mention it I would like to know as well . But I think you would be safe to buy from him the materials and blades are of quality materials and it is doubtful he would waste his time making them , I think you would be safe to buy

Some of his knives are made from YP blades, which are rhombic. YP was a brand founded by Yrjö Puronvarsi. They are forged these days (in the same forge) by his grandson, Antti Mäkinen.

Thomas, Ironically I was just looking at my Patrick made puukko yesterday. It has a Lauri blade of 80CrV2 (HRC 59) and a big elk antler handle. It is not marked with his name as he does not feel he should mark it as such as he does not make the blades, I disagree but he stands by what he believes. The Elk handle is BIG, but I have a big hand so it works for me and he does a good job with fit and finish, and his leather sheath is also well made. John
