From what I gather people here are not overly fond but can he be trusted?
I want a nice custom shop busse like a boss/ mean street, wood handle, mosaic pins etc , but can't find one here and Jerry's custom shop is closed due to high volume.

I contacted the guy over ebay and he doesn't want to ship to canada over ebay and wants to make the deal in private.
Is the guy trustworthy enough to sent 700-800 bucks to and expect to see a knife?

Use PayPal and be sure to send funds Goods & Services. If you don't get the knife you will get your money back. It will cost you 3.5% but that is cheap insurance. Best of luck!

Do not buy from him, he has lied about so many different knives to so many different people. There is a reason he was banned from BF.

If you're seeking advice, IMHO it is easily factored down to one question I'd ask myself...

"Do I feel 110% comfortable doing business with a seller who is ready and willing to violate eBay's Terms of Service?"

After I answered that question within myself, I would go with my first instinct and never look back...NO REGRETS!

When dealing with covenant breakers of this genera, usually the next request they make is: "Send me the funds via Friends & Family transfer."

Absolutely not. I know a customer of his that bought a Force One from him. He smashed in the tip of the knife with a hammer before sending it. Do not give this POS a cent.

Srsly? Man. Bad form. Even if half the stuff I've read is true.... That's cruddy for sure.

Why in the hell would a person do something like that??

Paypal's buyer protection is not a guarantee that you will receive what was promised or get refunded if things go south. It's better than nothing, but the guy can't be trusted. Just be patient and watch the exchange or go through ebay's normal purchase process with a different seller. The great part about buying here is seeing positive feedback from other reputable members.

I got an infraction last time I mentioned this but it's basically very tiny pee pee syndrome.
And I hated giving the warning to you over the likes of him.

I didn't know about it being a hammer on the F1 tip, but I have heard the story from the source. No bueno...
...Then there's the missing SE2007 FSH, another missing original AD. A damaged SYCO to Australia...
And the list goes on. :\

I could be wrong but isn't this guy still on these forums but with a different name?
Probably. I've personally rebanned him under new names quite a few times, but not recently. He probably learned to stop posting & stay lurking...but he and anyone else can view the forums as an unregistered guest, so really what"s the point if as soon as a moderator catches on you're banned again & again?

Only one, to see when new items are coming, whether from Busse combat or the exchange. The boss does do most of his announcements here

You can view the discussion forums as a guest.
Ya just can't post...
So he & anyone can still see announcement threads, ganza go threads, etc.
Not posting would limit you from the X...assuming you didn't have a new account or friends willing to do the deal via proxy.

I'm under the impression from what took place at blade last year that he's got a ton of dbags helping him do dirty work.

Piling up every blade in front of you careless to wether it gets its nice satin finish scratched x however many there were of his friends.

After blade there was one post made by someone with a brand new account asking how to remove scratches from the factory satin finish.

Hahaha. Blatant. And hilarious.

He was definitely at Blade, and had a few people swiping up piles of satin. Not much you can do about that.

I won't beat a dead horse, but I also wouldn't buy INFI from Dan even if he were the last INFI holder on the planet. There are plenty of good reasons why he was banned from BF and I don't think too many of us miss him. If you are patient and keep an eye on the forum, you will find a custom shop Busse to your liking for original cost; no secondary market mark-up BS. There are still a ton of good people on the forum not trying to price gouge their knives and make profit. Just keep an eye out and hold off for a bit, and you will score what you are after!
