L.T. Wright Picture Thread

are they supposed to be the Moaii from Easter Island or is that just how they turned out? Now you need to a gnome.
They are kinda just their own thing, but yeah they were definitely inspired by the Moai. They look a bit different, and apart from the facial features being different these ones I make tend to just be the head. The real Moai are full body statues.

I’ve never made a gnome, that’s a great idea!!

Nice Forest Trail - one of my favorite LTW models.

How do you like the Shemanese?
Thank you! I got them both in (separate) trades.
I wouldn’t have even known of the forest trail but i don’t think i could ever get rid of it!

The Shemanese is excellent so far! I got it more recently so haven’t gotten to use it as much as i’d like. I go back and forth over the canted handle looks-wise but i think in use it works out really nicely. I think the look is growing on me more as well. I really like that it has a longer blade, thinner stock and a saber grind compared to most 5~ inch blade scandi outdoor knives, its just something different and refreshing that works quite well. The handle is really comfortable and nice too, again something different than the average broomstick style (which are comfortable in their own way)

ETA:
I forgot to mention the weight and balance!
For a blade length of almost 7”, it is remarkably light! The balance is great and right at where your pointer finger rests.

Just able to snag a Bandit in snakeskin micarta, show pics when it arrives. Can anyone else give their experience with a bandit?

I just pulled the trigger on a LT Wright Bushcrafter in MagnaCut. Pics when it arrives.

I wanted a knife in MagnaCut I could use daily to see what the buzz is about. Although I’m not normally a Scandi fan I’m expanding my world view.
