I was gonna be in Vegas at that time anyway, my wife and I were taking a trip just 'cause. I wanted to go to the show, then I realized I knew nothing about the show, is it open to the public? If so how many of you will be attending? Has anyone been to this one before?? Just curious..........

Hi Hunter,

Go to www.lvcks.com This is the show's web site.

It gives a up to date list of who is going to attend.

This is the best show west of the Mississippi. I have been at every show since it started.

The show features a very good selection of makers, dealers and suppliers.

Just a note, this is a true "custom knife show" there are no factory knives for sale at this show.

If your even close to Vegas you should try and get to this one.

Les,

Thanks for the info! I will be staying at the Tropicana, I guess its about a mile fron the Palace Station. I am glad to hear that you will be there, I intend to come by your table and meet you(bring lightfoots) finally, in person. Thanks again Les, and I will see you in Vegas.

Hi Hunter,

I expect to have some Lightfoots. As a matter of fact, I expect to have Greg at the show. This is one of only two shows he attends in the states.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Les

Les,

Even better! I look forward to meeting you both. Anybody else going? Forum members? Or other knife makers? Please chime in, I would like to meet as many of you as I can.

Are other Bladeforum members coming? Possibly we could meet at some booth (LES?) sometime during the show? I'll certainly be there, even if it is a half-day shorter (no Friday night activities) than usual.

I will be there shopping.

I am looking forward to being able to see many of the knives I have been reading about and seeing on the net.

I will see everyone there.

I'll be there Saturday only. I've attended once a couple of years ago, and highly recommend this show. I really enjoyed myself, missing it since. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Hi Marvin,

If you and other Forum members would like to meet at my table during the show, that would be fine.

We did this at the Show in Maryland last month and it seemed to work out very well.

Look forward to meeting you in Las Vegas.

Les

I plan on being there and look forward to meeting some "forumites" that haven't made it to Atlanta.

Stay Sharp,
Sid

p.s. You might want to "pre-plan" what tables you hit first. You would be surprised at how much sells in the first 5 minutes of a good show.

I will be there. Say hello to me if you see me - a guy with a KnifeArt.com shirt on.

I'll definately be there , thats one of the reasons I've been so quiet lately ....Crunch time !!! Come on over and visit my welcome mat is always out. I'll also be at the Shot show !!! Can't wait!

I agree with Les , it is one of the cleanest , wide isles , low pressure shows i've been to ,this is my fifth year and I will be there next year to if at all possible.

So come on down and enjoy Vegas for the new millennium.

Thanks Ken,

Its coming up fast! I can hardly wait!
