Since my La Griffe is carried as a backup tool, I' ve never had to sharpen it. But because of its curved chisel grind a round/ oval crock stick would do just fine. Or even better a Sharpmaker. You need only stroke the beveled side and lightly touch up on the other to remove any burrs. That' s it.
