LA knife retailers/dealers?

A buddy of mine is going to LA for a week, staying IIRC at the Cresent hotel in North Brighton. I'm gonna send him a knife shopping list and want to ask if anyone knows and can recommend some knife dealers (+addresses?) in LA.

Sorry, Red. With the untimely passing of James Mattis, I don't know of any serious dealers in the local area. Dennis Wright certainly qualifies in this regard, but is 120 miles south down near San Diego, and I believe Oso Grande is in that neighborhood as well. As far as manufacturers go, we have the Strider guys near Oceanside, and Mission Knife and Tool even closer yet in South Orange County (Irvine).
