LA knife shows?

I need an excuse to appear in LA, basically so I can stay at this cute girl's apartment. But I can't think of any reason to be there, other than a KNIFE SHOW! Cuz nothing is hotter to a girl you just met than an interest in weaponry. Anyway, anyone know of any fall shows in the area? Help a brudda out! Tx, FF

there is a show in pasadena around the same time as well.

Used to be the Great Western Gun show in Pomona....I think they renamed it? L.A. County Fairgrounds, always on the 5th of November.Huge. Outside of Tulsa, I've never seen bigger.

if you havent been lately, its not so good. with all our anti weapons laws, there isnt much to be seen.

and im assuming he means los angeles, not louisiana.

There's a gun show this weekend at the O.C. fairgrounds in Costa Mesa- not that I'm trying to aid or abet any hanky panky, but it wouldn't be far from there to a nice sunset walk on the beach....

Yeah, Thanks Morimotom. I kinda figured that show was gonna turn south. I Left California in 2004. I think the last time I went to the great western was in 2001. Back in the Mid/Early 90's that show rocked. Too bad.
I miss the weather,the beautiful girls and the glitz..but not the throngs of people,crime,Illegals,Nutz crazy TRAFFIC. I had several Car 15's,Match AR's etc...I even had to get rid of them and I was LE! Too much grief. I knew a handfull of LAPD/LASO guys who lost their jobs cuz they bought or traded them legally but w/o approval etc.

It was gray area for me but I carried a mini reflex for years. Now, Here in the South....Anything goes. Microtech is huge here,as is hi cap mags and every semi auto you can dream of.

But yes, I miss Cali. The food. The total lack of humidity. And...The Waves. I could surf in Newport Beach in the morning,Hit the 55-91-57-10-15 fwy's and be night skiing in Wrightwood (Mt High) in just a tad over an hour.

The Crossroads of the West gunshow is held at the Costa Mesa fairgrounds about every three months. They have tons of guns, some production knives and I really like the pellet guns they offer. I've always had a lot of fun going there.:thumbup:

Been to the Crossroads show as well, forgot about that. :thumbup: Great Show, Not quite the size of the other but plenty of good deals. I miss the Costa Mesa Swapmeet as well. Goodtimes on the weekends. Short Drive from where I lived in Corona Del Mar.

Actually nothing is hotter to a girl than attention to her. Just go. The knife show can be a bonus.
