Labor Day for Calif. Bush Bash II?

How would California W&SS members feel about holding the next Bush Bash gathering over Labor Day weekend? The advantages would be that most people would not have to take a day off work or pull their kids out of school to make it a three-day weekend. The obvious disadvantages would be traffic and previous plans that some members may have.

The location would be the same one that Lambertiana kindly suggested for the last event. The participants seemed to like it and it's not difficult to reach with a 2WD vehicle.

Your thoughts?

we will not be able to make it... one of my good friends is getting married that weekend, and i'm in the wedding...

we would love to make it out that way again... any other dates in mind...
 
Yes: If you and a couple other key participants can't make it Labor Day, we were thinking of the last weekend in September (9/26-27). Would that be possible for you?

i'll check with the misses and see if we have anything going on....:thumbup:
 
Great. We'll see whether Mike and family can make it on 9/26-27, then try to get it set.

Yes, I'm thinking that would be easiest. Next time I drive through the Central Coast area, I will check some other possible locations for future gatherings.

i won't know for sure until we get a little closer to the date... why don't we just go heard and mark down this date, and i'll keep looking it...
as of right now, we don't have anything on the calendar, but i don't think the misses can take anymore time off from work either... so it might just be me, and possibly the boys...:)

there are plenty of other cool spots to have another gathering at, but we just won't be able to shoot.... which isn't that big of a deal to me...
