This is a hybrid between a fighting bowie and a tactical/military style do-all knife. It is 13" long overall and is cut from 1/4" thick 5160 spring steel with bead-blasted finish. The 5" handle is solid metal with removable black canvas micarta scales. The balance is just behind the front guard, making it very fluid in the hand and allowing for forward balance when choking back. The blade features a 6.5" flat-ground, recurved front edge and 3.5" straight back edge. The large guards and double choils are highly effective at trapping, making this an excellent parrying tool against larger blades.
Comes with a kydex sheath. Blade has some scratches/scuffs from the sheath and from storage and handling. The edge has been touched once with a ceramic rod. I am the second owner, and I paid $400 for it.
