I'm liking this one! I should have ignored Ian - this morning we were heading home from St John's Parkway/Ben Maddox, and I said that we could drop by your place to see what you had going. Ian said he had too much homework to do, and didn't want to do it. It's all his fault.

Ray - This is a really fine looking folder. Same thing I see in all your work - simplicity, nice flow, flawless workmanship. It has been so interesting to see the progression in your folders. This is the latest and the greatest.

Well crap. Ray, if this ones not spoken for, I'll take it. I'll have to cash in the change jar, but dang, it sure would be worth it.

Steve, you got it. Send me an email.

John, come over anytime. Bring some more oranges if you got any. We almost finished the last batch!

very nice work Ray, I'd be interested in a 3.25" bladed version and a smaller clip, if you're inclined that way in the future...

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. They're always great to read. :)

Good golly. Beautiful work, Ray! Are you making any with tip-up configuration?

Andy

Andy, I can make any knife either tip up or tip down or even both. It's all the same and just a matter of drilling and tapping extra holes.. I've been doing tip down because it's my personal prefered carry.

Yea, my money clip didn't need to hear that... as I said before I am a tip up kind of guy.

I got to look at this one today. The action is very smooth, and the postion of the thumbstud relative to the pivot and handle make it very easy to open. I like it!

Ray, I just picked more oranges, I'll drop them by soon.

Well, the nirvana of folding knives arrived today. This is by far the nicest folder I have ever had in my hands. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this knife. What you see in the picture does not come close to comparing with the real thing. I have chased Rays fixed blades ever since I started frequenting the Forum. What has always attracted me to Rays knives is his innate sense of form and function. His knives always have a very nice flow and the workmanship is always of the highest quality. This folder exhibits all of the qualities that make Rays knives sell so quickly. The first thing I noticed was in opening and closing the knife, it is hard to get anything more than a subdued snick out of it regardless of how much force is used. This thing is tight tight tight and yet opens with a buttersmooth action. NO blade play whatsoever. Centered smack dab in the middle. All metal on the knife is finished perfectly as are the handle scales. The blade is a work of art -perfect grinds and the finish is immaculate. The blade locks up in exactly the same place every time no matter how hard or soft the blade is opened. Very sharp out of the box. And, as always, Ray is a delight to deal with - very prompt and always lets you know where things are at in the process. My hat is off to you, Ray, for providing the members of this forum with a superlative product for what I feel is an excellant price.
