Laconico Tater Peeler

Just got back from a trip to Yosemite. Brought a whole bunch of knives, but unsheathed only the newest in the collection. Ray makes a fine tater peeler.

Look how tight that sheath is...you could bounce a quarter off it. This one is for you Mike.

Truthfully, this is about as functional as it gets for me. OAL 9.5 inches, half of which is the sharp stuff. About 2/3 of use was food prep. Made a bunch of big pieces of wood into small pieces. Made a few tent pegs. Speared five toe blisters (oh, there was some hiking). Cut a whole bunch of gauze and tape. Thanks Ray.
 
Fire is my friend. I brought a flask of whiskey on the trip, and ended up throwing most of it in the fire to see the big boom. Yay fire.
 
Very nice looking knife there, I have yet to purchase a Laconico but have always wanted to try one and I really like the version you have:thumbup:
