There are also differences in appearance depending on which "strata" are most dominant after the slabs are machined. Those that appear more yellow are due in part to the thickness of the tan/orange over the black. It seemed like yellow is thinner "strata" and tan/orange is thicker over black. I filed and sanded the tiger stripes to oblivion on my SFNO... trust me on this.
