It is a dagger but also is a great executive letter opener . There is a story and history behind this knife .

It is 1 of 2 , of the very 1st knives I ever made back in 1992 . Done with files and sanding sticks , and has been sitting in a box since after Paul Bos heat treated it for me back when he was in El Cajon and doing oil quench steels . The #2 knife is my wife's and she will never let it go .

It was designed after the dagger Lady Marion carried in Kevin Costner's movie " Robin Hood " . I finally decided to clean it up and finish it . I used a 10" wheel to clean up and finish the bevel grind . Then put on a fine scotchbright belt satin finish to it . It is hair saving sharp , so should open an envelope .

Steel- 3/16th , O-1 , Paul Bos H.T. to an Rc. 59
O.A.L- 12"
Blade- 7"
Width- 7/8" at the plunge & 1-1/4" at the butt of the handle .
Handle- Red Linen Micarta with staggered silver & copper pins & bright blue liner
Stand- Figured Black Walnut , white tail deer tine .
SOLD
$128.00 includes USPS shipping in the USA & Canada and PP fees . PP is sugarland@wwest.net or Postal M/O .
Hope you like it , it was interesting to work with it and finally finish such an old project .
