Ladyfinger in a high end stainless?

Okay. It is going to incur an upcharge. I hope all of y'all know this. I charged $60 each for the two I just made. (I charged $30 to use A2.)

I have seen first hand what long term use in salt water environments can do to good hi-carbon steels. I had to replace my german made hunting knives with Bucks back then because options for decent stainless were very limited. If I steel lived in the gulf I wouldn't have a problem with that upcharge to be able to carry my Fiddleback full time in the field. I never knew when I went out what I was going to be cleaning...sometimes fish, sometimes rabits, often both in the same day. Hell corrosion really isn't a problem here and I still may want one of these...after I get my Hiking Buddy though :)

I am good with giving it a try. If it works it will be great. If it doesn't, and people don't buy it, then we won't do it again!

I'm going to need a good stainless Fiddleback if/when I move back to Hawai'i....mmmm a CPM-154 Bushfinger would be most excellent :D

G'day Andy

Thanks for agreeing to do it :D

SC, you can just get it through me. It gets complicated ordering through Derrick.....

Two Bushfingers in current batch. One Ladyfinger, and one Recluse.

No money :grumpy:

Saving up for my Hunter first.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for future runs.

OK. I finally have these guys. If you're interested, please contact me. Thanks.

The steel is 3D Spalted CPM 154 that is as close as Aldo had to 3/32" thick. Around 0.010" at the spine.

The handles are thick and grippy. I started with 3/8" thick nat can micarta, and added a nat can liner. The scales also feature nat can pins and bullseye tubes.

Cool to see it. Wait till you see the new shirts too!

Andy does not make sharpened pry bars he makes fine cutting tools. All the frenzy over stainless blades, make sure you have the money when the knife is ready.Andy loves making knives, but it makes him crazy when the knife is finished and you say sorry I do not have the money that is why he stopped taking orders. His family enjoys sleeping indoors and eating everyday,Andy is lucky that his knives sell well so let him know if you cannot pay so he can sell the knife to someone else.
Thanks,
Michael
