Laguiole's anyone?

Yeah, I am afraid I can't talk you out of a swayback. Mine should arrive tomorrow...
:/

Well that's like another $60 I HAVE to spend!!! lol

No worries it's not like I am putting myself in debt to feed my knife habit.

Now the question is CV, Damascus or SS. I kind of want something I will use all the time so I am leaning towards the CV.

Laguiole should be here tomorrow...can't wait!!! I still haven't figured out how to post a pic!

Well the laguiole arrived and it is beautiful. For the life of me I can't remember how to post a pic. I also ordered a pocket sheath in tan leather and it fits perfect, it is embossed with the bee logo. I highly recommend the knife and custom curling they were awesome to deal with I can see another purchase in the future. Thanks for all the input guys, once again you didn't let me down.

Congrats on the new knife. As far as posting pictures goes, I upload mine to my free account on Photobucket, copy the IMG code they provide and paste it into my post here.

I like the sommelier tools the best, but those are some nice picnic options too. Just a grouchy rant - why do we have all these different wine openers, e.g. the rabbit, powered openers, etc. A simple tool, with minimal skill seems to work wonders.

The simple tool works fine for the occasional bottle in reasonably experienced hands. But all corks are not created equal, and a corkscrew can damage a weak cork badly. And someone opening many bottles will appreciate the assistance of a better system. Think restaurant or bar or a large, boisterous family gathering. :)

Alright I am going to try uploading from my flickr account if that doesn't work I give up. lol
