Lahar

A much as I'd like to see some more variations of the Lahar, you have to remember that they are manufactured in Japan. There's no tooling for them here, they'd have to start from scratch. If Kershaw were to do something like that it just makes more sense to invest in a completely new design (like this).

I doubt we would see SpeedSafe in a non Ken Onion knife.

I would think the best we could hope for in the Lahar would be some different colored G-10 and much less likely, a blade steel change. We'd probably have to completely buy up all the current production of Lahars to see either thing happen.

So if you haven't bought one, you better get going...

I remember at SHOT Show this year, Thomas telling me something along the lines that only the models that are manufactured in the US have a realistic chance at any kind of variations or sprint runs. What you said explains why, that makes sense.
