So, I really haven’t been on forums much lately. But in spirit of continuing to get myself made fun of. I figured I’d come by and say hi and post some pics. I managed to break my foot in 6 places on the 16th. The completely unbelievable story of how ends at, “I stepped in the back door.” No idea what I did to break it, but somehow slid off the doorframe and got myself a reconstruction surgery out of the deal. Now I am non-weight bearing for 8 more weeks, plus the 2.5 weeks before surgery. Hence my boredom.
In September of 2019, I bought what I though would be my first/last/only Busse in the form of a a ASHBM and a TG14 from the exchange. I was warned how incorrect I was about this assumption and swore that “I am a gun guy.”
Right about 1.5 years later, I managed to purchase what is now my last Busse purchase. Busse #42 and counting.
This July thoughapparently I had to prove to myself that I am still indeed a gun guy and went about trying to locate one of my few remaining, “I always wanted one of those.” Needless to say, my wife is not impressed with my decision making skills. Or my inability to find a storage place other than the kitchen counter.
So for those of you bored enough to read this post. I have been interested to find one of those Elmax slicers that look like a little cleaver. Had a name been decided for them yet? I wasn’t really able to find much of anything. This post is not for the purposes of buying/trading, I’m just trying to see what name I should put in an exchange post.
Also, completely off topic for anyone reading this, I know what the laws are with regards to selling ammunition and alcohol. That said, I don’t know of a good venue to do either. I am in Arizona and do not have an FFL for anyone that has suggestions. Ammunition and whiskey are unopened from the manufactures but other than something like an auction, I don’t know where one would go for such services.
