Nice pics. I like the care you take in setting up your fire pit.

How's that BRKT Gunny working out? That one's caught my eye, I'd like to hear how people are liking them.

Wow, I thought you found one of my hiding places until I saw the oak leaves. No hardwood trees in my spot.b

they where okay im used to haveing brots but when had eaten them all on the last trip but can't beat a queit day out the water was even warm enough for the kids to swin.

Ankar Sheng here something i wrote for doc canada a few threads ago it i think sums up my thoughts for the gunny till i get some more feild time on it.
the bravo is a very robust knife you know it's on your belt and in your hand. when cutting some types of media when you get to the spine of the blade the effencey falls off. the bravo 1 works great all over plse dont anyone take this a a dis, or a bash. for long projects trap making whittleing small fine stuff i find the B1 to start to be a little cumbersome toward the end when the hand starts to lose fine control. The gunny is lite you can for get it's there ,the handle is just a touch over hand lenght for me and im 5'9. the handle isn't so big around that it is hard to grasp in a reverse 4 finger grip where the B1 can get lose from you. out of all the knives i currently have the gunny out of the box out cuts them all after i have sharpened them. im no sham at sharpening either i can get some of my steel to spit a hair in half. but the edge geometry of the gunny is just scary. i sliced through rolled up blue jean leg with not much more than 1 pound of pressure. i also like that it has a full tang. the balance of the gunny is just rite so it floats in hand doesn't tip foward or backward. that way your not fighting gravity why doing your hobbie. it batons well as in you don't get much if any handle shock when you strike it. i haven't got to try it on game animals yet but from the last 4-5 days i have had it for genral work it is the way to go... but unfortunatly for me 1 knife is never enough so the B1 and B2 will alway be there wating there turn for when i want to mix it up a bit. works out pretty well for me cause i am ambie i use both hands about equal. my left has a little finer control so it gets the small knife my right can hold it's own so it gets the medium knife and the big boy goes on the pack for when the trail calls for it. sorry if a rambled to much.

mtnfolk mike thanks mike i picked the mother but sadly she had to go live on my grandpa's farm after 1 yr she just wouldn't house train my mom bought the father for my son. The kids bread the dogs for me :o they weren't supposed to be bread till she was over a year but the kids said they where so i love that they didn't want to stop them. my son is 7 and my little girl is 3. needless to say i got 7 pup's from the female these 2 where my picks of the litter. gave 3 to friendsand sold one the 7th was hit buy a car:( kind pi$$ed me off cause i was there for the brith and walked them every 45 min from the time they could move so the would be well house trained for the pepole that got them, and ill tell ya what it's hard as hell to get 7 pups put the door before they start to pee:D. so they where all kinda like me kids i had so much time in them. they are akc and every body that got one loves it and the 3 that went to friends they asked if i had worked with them cause they where natruals about heading for the door to go out. so i guess my effort paid off .
