Good day Porch dwellers.

It's been a year since my last giveaway, and I've had the good fortune to have won a few in that time, with the "proceeds" going to other generous members of the Porch.

Now to the details for this giveaway. A few months ago I asked a few gentlemen that were Porch regulars if they knew anyone that was willing to part with (sell/trade/etc) a lambsfoot knife as it was a pattern I had been interested in for a while but too nervous to try to find a good one on my own. Well, those two came up in spades, both offering me one from their personal collection...and down the rabbit hole I went.

They also provided me information on a reputable seller here in the states offering new ones for sale. Fast forward to last week and I ordered a new stag lambsfoot from the recommended seller, which came in over the weekend. Now is my opportunity to provide a lambsfoot knife to someone who may be in the same position I was a few months ago, wanting to try one out but worried about spending money on something they may not like.

The only rules I have for this giveaway are:

- Be a paid member of the forum.
- Be a regular contributor on the Porch.
- Not have or previously had a lambsfoot knife.
- Reside in the US (for shipping purposes).

The prize for this giveaway will be an A. Wright and Sons Rosewood lambsfoot knife that I received as my introduction to the pattern, as shown below. Also included will be a handmade slip (not pictured).

To enter, simply say "I'm in" or something to that effect.

I will let this run through the weekend and will choose a winner from a random name picker.

Good luck to all!

I'm in! I've been itching to try out a lambsfoot ever since missing out on the 93 lambsfoot. I've been lurking on the guardians thread but never owned a lambsfoot so was never able to really contribute.

I've been hesitant to pick one up because the quality seems hit or miss unless you know which manufacturer to go with. So I'd love to be considered. Thanks for a great giveaway.

I also have a lamb in my stable, but thanks for a generous giveaway!

Not an entry, but those covers are very unique, and have plenty of scope for an individual to give their own look/finish. Whoever ends up as the new owner will have a beautiful little knife. Nice gesture. 💝💝💝

I’m in!!! Seems I am in the exact boat you were in a few months ago. Lambless. Great GAW, and thank you for the generosity. Good luck to all that enter!

Not an entry as I have that exact knife, but thanks for your generosity.

Im in, I have been curious about them. People love them here, but I have been too nervous to make the jump. I think I would like them, but a sheepfoot is a secondary blade to me. I think it might be illegal to have one without the other 2 stockman blades around. Lol 😁
