I got this from Matt at the 2001 Spirit of Steel Show here in Texas. It is either 1095 or 1084, I honestly can't remember which exactly, but I think it is 1095. I cleaned it up after liberating it from my father and have reluctantly decided to sell it. The handles fit like a glove and it cuts like a dream. I am offering it for 225.00 (SOLD) shipped.

This one is going to be reoffered as there was a flaw that I was not aware of.......sorry about that again mogmz....and it will make someone a great user now instead if a collector piece.

The knife has a slight curve to the left looking dead on down the spine. It never hampered it's performance but it was not as described im my previous post. I will post pictures and new price tonight.

Sorry to intrude on your sale thread, but has anybody heard from Matt? I'm starting to worry about him, as he was right in the middle of Katrina when it hit. Nice knife, by the way. :)

Last I heard from him he wasn't in Biloxi but in Palmdale, California. I think he moved to California earlier this year, so I don't think he was hit.

Matt moved back to Biloxi last March, I have been trying to contact him but no luck. Matt and I have a knifemaker friend who lives about twenty miles from Matt but he has not heard from Matt eather. I just hope that he is ok.

Howdy all, yep i made it through that nasty storm. It was amazing to watch through my kitchen window.

Any how, to whomever owns that knife, i will gladly refinish and repair the slight bend in the blade. Just send it to me.

Thanks, Matt
