I visited with Matt this summer about a big, wicked blade with wood handle. I received a call today and Matt said he would shoot a quick picture and see if this camp he just finished up is close to what I wanted. Not the best picture, as Matt will attest to, but my first thought when seeing it was the old AT&T slogan, 'reach out and touch someone'. This 10 3/4-inch long X 2 1/4-inch wide 1095 blade was exactly what I had in mind. Typical active Lamey hamon with well contoured ironwood handle. 16-inches OAL.

May put an ad in the local newspaper, "Will chop down Christmas trees for free". ;)

Thanks for looking.

if you don't hack apart some furniture, or at least a 2x4, I for one will be very disappointed.
