Lamey Camp Knife

Joe, are you gonna find use for it or keep it away?

Lorien - if you don't hack apart some furniture, or at least a 2x4, I for one will be very disappointed.

After a good sheath is made, this will be carried and used. Not sure about the furniture hacking, but I know of some smaller cedar trees that will be coming down this winter around my place. I have a feeling I already know how it will perform. :)

I literally said "wow" out loud. That is some knife. That hamon is great.
Glad to hear it'll be a user.

How thick is the blade? Where's the balance and is it light and fast or a beastly chopper. Never had the privilege of handling one of his knives. Hopefully that'll be remedied soon with a visit to Lorien's.:)

Badass Joe!

Here is the Badass Package. ;)

Paul Long not only makes a badass sheath, he is super at choosing the right color combos to compliment the knife. The ostich leg inlay and leather on this large split toe pouch sheath makes the ironwood handle pop. (Yeah, you'll just have to believe me...I know the images are sad. :o )

Thanks Matt & Paul. This one is ready to roam!

SB, sorry that I just now saw your question from last month. Thickness is 3/16ths at the handle with a tapered tang. It balances about an inch in front of the handle and is beastly, yet light in hand (if that makes sense?). All of Matt's blades I have handled feel great in hand, and that is important to me.
