Lamey Fighter/bowie

A lot going on with that hamon! Great looking knife, for sure. Made to perform, and perform well.
Add Mr. Long's touch and you'll have an awesome package. Congratulations! Look forward to the final pictures.

JP, congratulation. It is an awesome knife. Thanks for showing it

Matt, I think your maker's mark is a new one, isn't it?

Great looking Blade  Beautiful hamon, comfortable looking handle too. Perfect in every way ! !

I like the Areola. Is that Bowie better for thrusting or slashing ?
a-re-o-la (ǝ rē' ǝ lǝ) n., pl. –lae’ (-lē’), - las [L., dim. of area] 1. a small space, as between the veins of a leaf or the ribs of an insect’s wing 2. Anat. a small area around something, as the dark ring around a nipple. 3. visible heat affected zone of American knives.

Nice blade Matt.

Mohd, yep thats a new mark, I like it a bit more then the previos 2. I will try and get a clearer shot of it next time.

Jason, that definition had to come out of a South Carolina public school dictionary:eek:

JP - with this and the Bagwell, you're getting all the cool toys. This knife just begs to be used; can't wait to see another picture of it once it acquires some honest patina.

Matt - great job! I really like the shape of the blade. This is exactly the blade shap we've been discussing for the next one - just make it slightly shorter and narrower and put a modified coffin-shaped handle on it. The new maker's mark looks good.
