This is a repost.
I laminated 15N20 over a 1084 core (both are high carbon steel) to forge this knife
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind
Professionally stabilized figured spalted maple handle. (Spalting is caused by fungi in dead wood and an indication of the beginning of decay. This is why a good deep stabilizing is important. The stabilizing service of K&G is the best that I have used, the wood comes back very hard and there is deep penetration of the resins)
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 3 1/4 inches
Oiled leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
SOLD delivered within the US. My PayPal and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com
