This one was from last summer, an experiment in laminating SS over W2. I had had some trouble with the SS taking too much carbon on some other attempts so on this one I put in a thin sheet of nickel between them. It creates a really nice effect but no carbon diffusion into the SS.. Also, it made it a little tougher to get proper welds and there are a couple black lines between the nickel and SS to show that.
I decided to finish it off and put it in a kydex sheath and use it on my water belt while running. (hence the ugly elastic loop for horizontal carry) I only took it out once and felt it might be a little much so I used it a little as a pocket carry knife instead.
Anyway, I would rather put the money towards some belts so I am selling this cheap considering the time put into making a laminated piece.
It's got a 4" blade and is about 7 7/8" OAL. The handle is stabilized walnut.
Asking $old..
ps... the photos make it look blunt but it's very pointy, it's just the dark W2 is hard to see as the ss goes far out to the tip.
