This blade has what I would call a user grade finish. 400 grit belt finish, then etched to show the "false hamon". The edges are all polished and etched also.

This is the second santoku I've made.

Steel: 416/W2/416 laminate

Hardness: 61-62 RC

Blade length: 6"

Total length: around 10"

Blade thickness: around 1/8"

Handle material: black and green canvas micarta

Price: $225 + $11 shipping

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send correspondence and paypal to phillip@pattonblades.com

Sorry, not the greatest pictures...

Thanks for looking!

May be only your 2nd Santuko Phillip, but it looks excellent, including the very slight curve to give a rocking motion for cutting the veges.
I have 2 custom Santukos, so i'll leave this one for someone else. I do find this pattern the most useful of all my kitchen blades, and considering most of us do food prep most days, it's an easy one to justify purchasing.

Awesome work! How you can offer a piece like this for that price is beyond me...

How much do you think it should be? I admit pricing is a hard thing for me. I know I should be charging more for most of my work, but how much more? Maybe raise prices until I start making money? LOL

Hi Phillip.

If this is still available let me know in PM payment info and I will take it.

thanks

This one is now bought, paid for, and mailed! Thanks everyone for your comments, and thanks again to the buyer.
