laminated steel?

I know there are plenty of makers out there producing Damascus,but is anyone making a simple laminated type steel like in the scandinavian knives?
 
Oh yes. I can hardly even use mono-steel any more. I like wrought iron and high carbon.

Cold Steel makes a VG-1 San Mai III triple layer stainless laminate, supposed to be an excellent steel.
 
Sure Don... Here it is. This one has a line of pure nickel in it. The handle scales are osage fence post.

Sog makes a laminated steel I believe it's San Mai on there Vulcan tanto folding knife.
 
I use the two suppliers above, mostly Dicktum. They have top quality bars, that will make top quality blades. HT info is provided.
