laminated steels

Is there anyone who supplies laminated steel? All I could find were knife kit blanks, which Isn't what I'm interested in.
I don't have the skills or the equipment, so making my own is not an option, but I'd like to try some out.

Also, is it possible to have a high carbon non stainless, e.g. o1 or 52100, laminated between outer layers of a s.s. like 420?

Thanks,
Leif

Workshophreaven and Dictum sell it. The core is similar to 52100 ( better IMHO)

Mike turner also will make you any laminated steel you want. He is a member here. The sites mentioned above are good but they don't sell stainless laminates.

And yes it's possible. I often laminate 416 stainless to w2. It's a little more complicated but done often. My avatar is a stainless to carbon laminate I did.

Thanks, I'll get in touch with him.

I noticed they didn't have any stainless laminates and was kind of disappointed. I wanted to try that combo specifically. I'd prefer to buy from an American source anyway.

Thanks again,
Leif
