Well it's rapidly looking like 2013 is not going to be my year. After already adsorbing a couple of unexpected hits to the wallet my son's car blew the the head gasket. He's a poor 21 yr old so I gotta step up and give him a hand.

So I need to sacrifice two of my "grail" knives.

I WILL NOT lower the prices on these they are brand new uncarried, the BK2 folder made about 5 chops to a log and that's it. All I am asking is what I paid if I can't get that then my son will need to walk to work but I will not lose money on these. Tough enough to sell them as it is.

Lamont Coombs Fighter

I ordered this knife a few months ago from Lamont and I just went down and picked it up last Sunday (Lamont lives about 20 miles from me ) basically he had a smaller version of this knife and I asked him to upsize it for me. Originally was supposed to made with 3/16th" steel but when Lamont ground out the design he decided it would look better made out of 1/4" stock and WOW! Was he right! it does not feel like a 1/4" thick steel knife it feels very light and fast. 1/4" ATS34 steel, beadblasted finish. 12 1/2" total length, little over 7" blade Black canvas micarta removable scales, torx bolts holding them on. Heavy duty black leather sheath with sharpening stone pouch and thigh tie down. Knife and sheath are Brand New hasn't been carried or cut anything just taken out of the sheath and lovingly fondled. Just wanting what I paid for it $300 free shipping CONUS trying to move this by Monday so I will eat the PP fees too but if you would like to use the gift option that would be nice. Check my feedback.

I worked with Alan for months to develop this knife the info can be found in this thread:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/921402-Finally-Got-My-BK2-Folder!!!/page2

From Alan:

I have opened and closed it a couple hundred times and it still has perfect function so it is ready to go. Like I said the lock is a little sticky, just open it soft at first. I would rather have a lock that is a little hard to release than one that fails. With .085 thick liners, it really is a framelock with scales! Also remember that this has my micro bearings, so when closing be careful because the weight of the blade the knife can almost close by itself with gravity once you release the lock. It took a little longer than I thought (BIG KNIFE), I have about 30 hours + material in to it.

Opening the knife soft or hard the lock releases as it should with medium force opening it gets sticky I have opened it hundreds of times and it gets better the more I do it. But it takes so little effort to open the knife that you have to try hard to open it at medium speed.

I will eat the shipping costs on these to try to sell them this weekend and get the boy's car in the shop on Monday.

how about a little discount for the guy who started this Becker folder idea? LOL

I am kind of amazed Lamont's knife hasn't sold yet I guess I need to put some new better pics up of it tomorrow.

I am really trying to move this by Monday so I will eat the PP fees too but if you would like to use the gift option that would be nice. Check my feedback.
