Lancer and Deuce users?

My Lancer arrived yesterday. It's an impressive little knife that I expect to carry in addition to my modern folder.

I decided to get it after being extremely impressed with the Buck 379 I bought on a whim. The Lancer feels more robust, but I'm going to need to take a file to some of the edges. It's like the 305 skipped a buff/polish step that was completed superbly on the 379 and there are some sharp corners that I fully expect to either put holes in my pocket or my finger...

Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

I have a newer 305 also, and I agree with you about the edges. Especially the edges of the handles and the butt of the blades. I like to be able to run my thumb across the knife while closed and find no sharp edges. My older Camillus-made 305 is as smooth as silk, while the newer Buck-made version has those edges, an extra go on the buffer would go a long way to solving that problem. Otherwise I agree, it's a solid knife.
