Removeable handle slabs are too much temptation for me. I had just enough of a mosaic pin left to use on a new handle. I gave it some black liners also.

Just need to make some pants for it.

very nice job, as usual.

seems like the last couple of days osage has surged in popularity...? or is it just more publicized now that everyone remembered their trusty osage handled tools...

very nice! I was hoping to get mosaics with mine, but he didn't have any in stock and I have no patience. How do you like your Landi so far? I'm getting 4 of them this week (shipped today) and the anticipation is killing me.

I had to spend some time with it on the belt sander to get the edge where I wanted it. The scales on mine were a little rough. I take my handles down to about a 600 grit before I buff and treat them. Other than that everything else is good. Nice even grinds.

It's rare that I get a knife that I don't modify in some way. I try to get blank blades from makers if I can since I'm pretty picky about the handles of my knives.

Where does Osage fit in the grand scheme of woods? Hard, soft? I've never paid it much attention but you are sure opening my eyes to it.

Osage is dense and hard. It is great material for handles! Doesn't have to be stabilized.

Nice work, Badger!

Wow Bruce, that looks great!

I can't wait to see the sheath you make for it.

I just got a batch of MPX/M/S blanks back from peters HT. I should be starting your MPX, no choil, exposed lanyard hole, no sheath:-) within the next 5 to 7 days...

Take care, John
