Lannys clip made by a 17 year old

Wow... Very nicely done. The choice of materials looks terrific, and I really like how the lines flow from end to end, on both the top and bottom. Very well thought out design.
It almost looks like a sheath knife...

Why all this cloak and dagger, can't you just say who made this knife?

Jeff

?? NO cloak and dagger. I want to make sure that he wants orders and contact before I give out his name. He is not sure about what he can produce this summer, it depends on school. I will post what I can asap.

Excuse my over exuberance, this is a rare chance to find talent like this. I certainly do not mean interfere with this young man's
school, obviously that takes precedence.

Hi Jeff
I have been in contact through email and phone. He is very dedicated to school but loves knife making. I'm Really trying to not kidnap him :D One of the problems other than his time is, he has been using some of the equipment in his high school but has now graduated.:o I am trying to encourage him without being pushy when as I said, I want to kidnap him ;-))) He is a very nice, polite and motivated young fellow. I should know in a few days what he will be able to handle in the short term.

Best regards

Robin

Heh, about time he got noticed ;) some more examples of the young man's work:

And the first knife he kindly made for me

He's got some mad skills, and a brilliant eye.

Young man does look to have the talent. But it does not sound like he will have the time or the tools just yet.

With college, girls, a side job and cars he will be moving in a hundred directions at once. He should stick with knives but you don't want him to get burned out. Bring books, magazines, catalogs for him to look over. Get him a membership here. If you like this kid past his knives instill the quality of a good job in him. If he has your basic 9-5 M-F, he can take a weekend here and there for knives. He looks to me like he can carry on the legacy quite well. I hope he sticks with it.

Well put Dan. Whatever the young man chooses to pursue I wish him much success.
