Lanny's Clip Thread

I did a cursory search and didn't find a dedicated Lanny's thread, so post them here! I've been wanting one for quite some time, and I'm riding the fence over liquidating a portion of my collection to fund a custom since no one seems to make an affordable production version. I'm aware of the Case/Bose, and I'm still tempted by them, but 4" is a little large for me, and they're bumping up against the custom money range.

show me what you got and push me over the edge!

I recall seeing a custom recently that was 3/4 scale of the original. That would be a good size for carry IMO.

I've seen a few makers that do 3.5" or 3.75" Lanny's clips. That'd be right in my wheelhouse.

3 3/4 closed, just about perfect for me .

Here's one made by Brent Cramer. 3 1/2" with a CPM-154 blade. Just the perfect size for me.

Any chance you guys have a GEC #72 you could picture them next to? It's the closest I can find to a production Lanny's clip (and I have one). It'd help me with the size comparison as the 72 is the upper limit of my comfort zone.

I might be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that when Tony Bose first designed the knife it was 3 3/4" and, as others have said, a custom maker should be able to scale it pretty easily.

I only have one that Brent Cramer made for me back in 2010 and it's right at 3 3/4".
