Lannys Clip-what have you got,what do you think?

As I have this arriving tomorrow I thought you might like to show what you have.

Are there many of the originals on here,what do you think of other makers efforts ?


I sold (in the UK) my only stainless GEC a micarta 86 Barlow,I just didnt like the micarta and couldnt find anyone to put wooden covers on it.

It was a really good knife, though I sold it to buy this one.

As I wanted a stainless UK friendly size to carry in my motorbike tank bag when on my Road Trips.

Hennie Is over 60 and has been a farmer for all his life.
He started making knives 5 years ago and has a well equipped workshop where he makes the knives from scratch.
He can fix anything that moves and has at least 3 trades.
He likes working with natural handle material especially ivory and African Blackwood, loves doing woodwork.

Thanks, I was sent a video and I could see it was pinchable with ease which is something I like as well as the shape and design.

Compared to some custom maker it was a very good price.

The Prinsloo version looks like a very well made tool, @Johnnythefox Congrats on the addition!
The Lanny’s Clip is one of my favorite single blade carries and the Case/Bose version fits my needs nicely.

This one was designed by Tony Bose, but manufactured by Case under his guidance. It’s as close as I’ll ever get to a Bose original.

Prinsloo is not a new name to knife making, Thuens Prinsloo has been around a long time.

Thats lovely along with all the others shown above.

I read some comments on that shield,to me if you put it upright it looks like a chess piece.
