America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!
+1, thats what I do with my Duo-folds.You don't need to, but you can if you want to. My Lansky diamond kit came with a bottle of oil, but I've never used it. I prefer to use water, or water with a little dish soap in it. That works just as well in keeping the swarf suspended, and is a lot easier to clean up afterwards (it is soap & water, after all).
I do the same. I bought a fine and extra fine and keep in my campin kit. I was never any good at free-hand sharpening, but I can do a good job touching-up freehanding the Lansky stone. I cant seem to put blade to stone, but I can put stone to blade. Maby I'm dislectic that way.the lines in that guide are exactly that. guidelines. hell I use my Lansky hones like benchstones but travel sized. makes sharpening in the field and at home a lot easier
