Lansky Puck grit information...

I was curious on this - so I e-mailed Lansky on the specs on their Axe Sharpening puck:

"Thank you for your inquiry! The Puck is a Coarse (Grey) = 120 grit and Medium (Tan) = 280 grit."

That was my reply. Just thought I would pass it along.

Thanks, I have an older version. Mine is gray and grayer and sometimes I cant tell the difference by using in on my axes ( all relativly cheap I admit). May have to upgrade as the thing is very handy for touchups during cutiing. I wonder if a DC4 is a better investment?
