Lansky Quick-fix

The Lansky will put a very usable working edge on a knife! The only thing it really gives up to the EP or WEPS is precision and repeatability. But if you don't mind fiddling with the clamp when you have to sharpen (especially if you only sharpen occasionally) it works just fine. I used a Smith's knock-off of the Lansky for a number of years, followed by stropping on leather.
