Lansky Responder: Best budget knife ever?

Would be fun to see a little testing of it. It is a very cool looking design but I am having doubts about it being anything tactical.

It certainly seems like a heck of a deal. I honestly might order several just to have on hand as gifts. Let us know how it holds up in the long run.
 
I picked one up this week at gpknives also. I opted to get the knife/sharpener package, under $20 for both. The sharpener by itself sells for $11, I'll throw it in my BOB. 440, fit and finish are great, no blade play, blade centered and sharp out of the box. A bit big and heavy for EDC, for me at least, but it looks like it will take a beating. I tried to adjust the pivot to get it flip to a little easier without any luck, I did use 2 torx drivers. It is getting easier to open with use. The chinese Spyderco's were the knives I recommended to people who wanted a good inexpensive knife. I may have to add this to the list.

My order just came in from GPKnives, this is an impressive knife. I was able to dissemble using two torx drivers, but it did not really need it, it flipped well out of the box. Very impressed, it just LOOKS really good. The two tone finish on the blade is impressive, and the fittings make it feel like a much higher end knife.
