Lanyard mod on Espada series

In order to get a good grip on CS Espada folders for doing a reliable wave opening without throwing the knife, here's what I did.

I cut an "island" out of the spacer. This still maintains the integrity of the design.

Thanks to Reese Weiland who gave me the idea. Since I don't have a drill press I couldn't do the steel tube and flare method. I only have a Dremel and no vice or proper work area, so I think I have done alright on my mods

Really nice work. Does the blade come into contact with the lanyard at all?

Nope, there is adequate blade clearance but I did grind it down a little just to be safe
