so ya have to remove the pins and then reassemble?

Correct. I push out the two rear pins, take the spring out, put my part in, install new pins, and polish ‘er up.

I have the black one. I’d like a hole on my regular brass model. It would make pocket carry better.

I understand. The metal and wood traditionally models are better looking and more durable for sure, I found them heavy to pocket carry for me though (but doable). Lanyard would help getting it out of the pocket I bet. Have you carried your black LT yet? Tried a lanyard on it?

Yes sir. It's a great knife. I do have a long lanyard for easier pocket retrieval and to help it stay more upright. Also made a pocket sheath for it and the regular 110. Works quite nicely (thanks to advice from this forum's members).
