Lanyard tieing...

Now for the first (of probably many!) questions that show my newness and ignorance

I want to attacha lanyard to my UDT, and it came with it, but I have now idea how to tie that great looking noose knot that I see in pictures.

I was looking through the auctions, and saw the tactical black udt for sale, and the picture is great with the lanyard attached. I want mine to look like this, but am at a loss (not very good with knots...)

Can someone help?

One knot a lot of people use is the Hangman's Noose that can be found here: http://www.realknots.com/knots/index.htm
Navigate to Noose and then down to Hangman's Knot.

You might want to search the Automatic Forum as well. I posted the same question awhile back and someone put up pix of step by step on the Hangman's noose. Works great!
