I put lanyards on everything lol. If it has a place for it, I am putting one on there of some sort. Some get pinky/thumb lanyards, some have full wrist lanyards, and all my Beckers have lanyards.
BK5 Lanyard, All the larger Beckers have this type of lanyard. Looped in so its easy to remove, 2 beads that can be used to add tension, and then a couple of knots. End knot because (of course) and the middle one is just to keep it "tidy" when not in use, its just loosely knotted. Cut long enough so that you can use the over the thumb loop over type hold or throw it around the wrist. Also it allows you to "tie off" the knife to the sheath so the knife cannot fall out of the sheath. I have the BK9 lanyard the same but a bit longer.
BK2, same, more knots to keep it tidy.
Here is what happens if you have a long lanyard on the 9 and start chopping without it. Whipped around and connected with the edge. Kinda neat.
