Howdy folks,
I bought both of these knives more than 10 years ago and didn't end up using them much, which is a shame as they are both nice working knives. Prices include shipping by USPS and I accept payment via Zelle and PayPal. I can provide additional pictures if requested and prices are OBO, so feel free to make an offer!
1. Lapin Puukko Whittler: Handmade in Finland. I couldn't find it for sale anywhere and I am not sure they are even made any more. I sanded the tail-end of the handle a bit because it felt a little small and uncomfortable in my hand. Don't know the steel but the carbon blade is 3 1/8". It is shaving sharp but has a secondary bevel rather than a true scandi grind, and I don't remember if I sharpened it or it came that way. There are scuff marks from the sheath on the blade and some scratches, I captured some of the marks in the picture but not all. It had a shallow rust area near the tip which I gently rubbed out with flitz on a q-tip. Asking $50 40 SoLD shipped.
2. Salem Straub one-off custom, made in USA: Brownish contoured micarta handle with 4" 52100 steel that is 4mm thick at the spine, slightly hollow ground, partial tang. The well-fitting sheath is horse leather if I remember correctly and is also made by Salem. This one has the original shaving sharp polished edge and some scratches and marks the on the blade which I was able to capture. If curious, Salem is fortunately still in business: https://www.prometheanknives.com/. Asking $150 125 SOLD shipped.
