For sale are a pair of very early sebenzas from the 1990s. I am the original owner of both knives. Neither have been used or carried. The proverbial safe queens. Lock ups are very tight. Might be minor scuff on the handle from being in a drawer with other knives. The small sebenza has some discoloration in one small area on the very edge of the blade that will be gone when you hone it. I don’t think i have ever sharpened these so i didn’t want to risk it now.
both knives are still very sharp with what i believe is the original edge.
truthfully i always thought these knives were too nice for me to risk carrying them. If i lose a spyderco i will be mad. If i lose a Chris Reeve, i will cry!

the large sebenza is marked “P” right behind the CR logo and it did not come with a pocket clip.
no boxes unfortunately. They may be here somewhere but i am not sure where to look. May have been thrown out when i moved 15 years ago.
as far as price, one consignment knife shop is telling to list the large sebenza for $1995 and there was an ebay sale last week for a large P sebenza not as nice as mine and no box, etc for $1678 plus tax and shipping.
I am asking $1500 plus shipping in Continental US for the large P sebenza and $1000 plus shipping for the small sebenza.
i am not interested in trades but i would certainly consider reasonable offers and maybe even discount a little if you buy both knives.
If i am way off on price, please let me know. i have received a copy of offers but i wanted to list these for sale before i decided on anything or maybe i will eventually consider consignment or auction if they don’t sell here.
