Well, gotta let something go to recoup some funds, as we all have to do from time to time. Up for sale today are two excellent CRKs. First is a is a Large Sebenza 21 Insingo with black micarta inlays. The edge is a recently applied Wicked Edge at 17 degrees per side, which has been polished and stropped at 1 micron to maintain hair-shaving sharpness. There are some snail trails on the titanium handles from carry.
Centering is perfect or very close to perfect (see pics), the detent is dialed perfectly for the flicking open or deploying slowly with the thumbstuds. The pivot is buttery smooth, and the blade drops freely with no play with the lockbar is disengaged. Lockup is rock solid in all directions. Box, microfiber cloth, grease, loctite, wrenches and birthcard are all included. Lanyard has been changed out as noted in the pics.
Second up is a well-used Umnumzaan. Handles have loads of snail trails and there is a scratch on the blade (see pics). The edge is a 16 degrees per side edge that I applied on the Wicked Edge. It has been stropped at 1 micron and is hair-shaving sharp.
Centering is perfect, lockup is rock solid, blade drops freely with no play when the lockbar is disengaged. This one is missing the box, birthcard, etc. I have included pics of the date stamp on the inside of the scales in the pics. The knife was originally produced in 2012, but was sent back to CRK for servicing in 2017, and at that time they replaced the entire lock side, which is reflected in the date stamps on the scales. The additional handle screw and spacer was ordered from CRK directly and installed by me to replace the long-missing lanyard pin.
Condition is considered in the pricing. If you're looking for a solid user Umnumzaan with lots of life in it, this one is the deal you've been waiting for.
