This is a Large 21 Sebenza that I had re heat treated so that the S35vn has a hardness of 59-60 so it holds an edge much longer. It was done by Paul Bos who has a reputation for his heat treats. He definitely delivered on this one. I re finished the blade with a acid stone wash. I started out with a new unsharpened blade and then re sharpened it to a mirror edge with my wicked edge. It's along been never been re sharpened and just has been maintained with a strop. This should speak volumes for the heat treat. I also polished and washers and the area that the washers contact on the blades edge. Pretty radical but it's ridiculously smooth, even for a sebenza. Lock up is still vault tight and blade is still centered. Needless to say the warranty is voided. What you do get is a unbelievably smooth 21 with a harder s35vn blade. I am selling it simply because I no longer use the large sebenzas and it has been sitting for too long. Its everything I wanted in a sebenza so I thought I would give the opportunity to pass it on.
